When Dan was in 11th grade in high school he injured his knee running hurdles in track. During his recovery he was referred to physical therapy and was intrigued and empowered by a profession that could help him regain his strength and coordination, and allow him to return to sports. He subsequently graduated with a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology from the University of Maryland, College Park and a DPT from the University of Maryland, Eastern Shore in 2013. He began his career in Gainesville, Florida where he practiced for 2 years and earned his Certified Manual Physical Therapist certification from the Florida Institute of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy. Dan has returned home to Germantown, MD to continue his career in general outpatient orthopedics. Dan hopes that he can educate, empower, and encourage you to return to your life without pain or limitation at the The Orthopedics Center, a division of CAO in Germantown, MD.
